This unique structure was created for the 2009 International Festival in Manchester. It is intended to be taken down and reassembled at other venues. The design incorporated acoustic panels to enhance performances.

A steel truss 'skeleton' frame structure enclosed by panels which also form the interior space. Armadillo supplied all the high level cladding panels and also built a temporary steel structure to prove the fabric at our factory in Malmesbury as Proof of Concept.

Part of the MCC's £1m revamp of Lords Cricket Ground, this commission was to replace the iconic Mound Stand canopy. The canopy had reached the end of its design life and more advanced techniques could be employed to produce a higher performing structure.
